A few shows, among which you can find sea lions and orang hutan, are scheduled every day. Besides, you can help feeding a lot of animals, including flamingos, leopard, alpacas and elephants. Fantasy land offers many rides and the play-pool is welcoming fresh.
Batu Secret Zoo opened in June 2010. The museum has its own entrance next to the zoo. A hotel - Phon Inn - complements the complex which is spread over 12 hectares.
The zoo is clean and fairly well organized. Just follow the arrows, if you would like to see it all. You can rent an e-bikes if wanted or necessary.
Loads of animals in several different areas
The savanna is a glass-walled tunnel. Here you can see some of the larger African animals, such as the giant sable antelope, scimitar-horned oryx, and zebra. The African village shows the smaller African animals as the guinea pigs and meerkats. The Flying Lemur area houses the primate Lemur which has a pointed snout and typically a long tail. The Lemur originates in Madagascar. Snakes have their home in the reptile area. The aquarium is interesting as well and offers several spots to make funny pictures. Tiger land is huge and hols all kinds of these giant cats. What else can be found? Just visit the zoo....
